MLB – The Detroit Tigers Lose Series Opener

The Detroit Tigers opened their series with the Cleveland Indians last night with a loss.

The Indians beat the Tigers 2 to 0.

Corey Kluber was stellar for the Indians.

Kluber pitched 8 innings, giving up no runs on just 2 hits, while striking out 13 and walking 1.

Fransico Liriano started for the Tigers and he had a very good outing as well.

Liriano threw 6 innings, giving up 2 runs on 3 hits, striking out 4 and walking 3.


The series continues tonight in Cleveland.

Matt Boyd will start for the Tigers and Josh Tomlin will take the mound for Cleveland.

The first pitch is scheduled for 6:10.
