—M-L-B— Tigers and White Sox Postponed

The Detroit Tigers and the Chicago White Sox will have to wait until Monday to finish their four game series after last night’s finale was postponed due to rain.

Justin Verlander, who was scheduled to get the start last night, will head to the mound tonight against the Indians’ Corey Cluber.

First pitch at Progressive Field is 7:05 p.m.

In Monday afternoon’s make-up game, Detroit will start Doug Fister and Chicago will counter with Gavin Floyd.

—N-F-L—Packers beat Bears!

Tom Crabtree had a 27-yard touchdown reception on a fake field goal as the Packers beat the rival Bears, 23-10.

Aaron Rodgers passed for 219 yards, one touchdown and an interception to help Green Bay improve to 1-and-1.

Cedric Benson rushed for 81 yards, while Donald Driver had a TD grab in the win.

Jay Cutler was just 11-of-27 for 126 yards, a touchdown and four interceptions for Chicago. Cutler was also sacked seven times. Matt Forte (FOR-tay) had to leave with an ankle injury. The Bears dropped to 1-and-1.

Munising is at Newberry.  GLR will have the broadcast on am 1400 WQXO and streaming live on

Marquette plays Escanaba in Marquette.  Game-time is 7:00pm

Gwinn goes to Baraga to take on the Vikings…kick off at 7:00pm

Gladstone is in Menominee.  Start-time is 7:00pm

Manistique is at home against Norway with a 7:30 kick-off.
