Tigers await winner in NLCS – game seven Monday night

The Detroit Tigers will know their destination for Game One of the World Series by the end of tonight.

The Giants won Game Six of the NLCS over St. Louis last night to force that decisive Game Seven.

The Tigers will travel to face the winner in Game One of the Fall Classic on Wednesday.

Marco Scutaro’s two-run double highlighted a four-run second inning as the Giants knocked off the

Cardinals, 6-1, in Game Six of the NLCS.

Scutaro and Brandon Belt scored twice for San Francisco, which has won two straight.

Ryan Vogelsong struck out nine over seven innings of four-hit, one-run ball to earn his second win of the series.

The Giants will host the do-or-die affair Monday night.

Matt Cain will take the mound for the Giants against the Cardinals’ Kyle Lohse (loash).
