Tampa Bay and Minnesota square off on Thursday Night Football

Posted on October 25, 2012 in Professional Sports News.

The Thursday night spotlight shines on Minneapolis this week as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers take on the Minnesota Vikings at the Metrodome.

The Bucs squandered a 21-7 lead at home in a 35-28 loss to the Saints this past Sunday.

Tampa Bay is now 2-and-4 on the season, including 0-and-2 on the road.

The Bucs have dropped nine straight on the road overall but have won their last five meetings against Minnesota.

The Vikings are 5-and-2 after a 21-14 win over Arizona. Christian Ponder threw for just 58 yards and was picked off twice, but Adrian Peterson picked up the slack with 153 yards and a touchdown on the ground. Minnesota is 4-and-0 at home this season.
