Tampa Bay thumps Vikings

Doug Martin had 214 total yards and two touchdowns as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers blew out the Minnesota Vikings, 36-17 last night at the Metrodome.

Josh Freeman passed for 262 yards and three touchdowns for the Bucs, who improved to 3-and-4 with their first road win of the season.

Mike Williams and Erik Lorig caught touchdown passes in the victory.

Adrian Peterson rushed for 123 yards and a score for Minnesota, which dropped to 5-and-3. Christian Ponder threw for 251 yards, a touchdown and an interception in the loss.
