Niners beat Cards on MNF

Alex Smith was efficient and the 49ers defense stifling as San Francisco beat the Arizona Cardinals, 24-3 last night on “Monday Night Football”.

Smith finished 18-of-19 for 232 yards and three touchdowns.

Michael Crabtree caught five passes for 72 yards and two scores, while Randy Moss hauled in a 47-yard TD for the Niners.

Frank Gore ran for 55 yards on 16 carries and Kendall Hunter added 43 yards on the ground as San Francisco moved to 6-and-2 on the year.

John Skelton threw for 290 yards with an interception for Arizona, which managed just seven yards rushing.

Larry Fitzgerald had 53 yards on five catches, while Andre Roberts led the way with seven grabs for 65 yards.
