Posted on November 7, 2012 in Professional Sports News, Sports News - Yooper & Michigan.

Major League Baseball’s Hot Stove season will get a push with the start of the General Managers Meetings today.

GM’s from all 30 clubs are slated to gather at the Hyatt Grand Champions hotel in Indian Wells, California.

It will be an opportunity to discuss trade opportunities and gauge the free-agent market ahead of next month’s Winter Meetings in Nashville, Tennessee.

The marquee free agents this year are outfielder Josh Hamilton and pitcher Zack Greinke.
