The fifth-ranked Michigan Wolverines beat IUPUI 91-54 in the opening round of the NIT Season Tip-Off Tournament last night at the Crisler Center.

Five players scored in double digits for the Wolverines.

Trey Burke lead the Wolverines with 22 points and nine assists, while freshman Glenn Robinson III scored 21 points for the 2-and-0 Wolverines.

U-of-M will play Cleveland State tonight as the NIT Tip-Off Tournament continues. Game time at the Crisler Center is 8:00 p.m.

The 14-ranked Michigan State Spartans are back in action this evening when they take on the Kansas Jayhawks.

Tip-off in Atlanta, Georgia is 7:00 p.m.

The Spartans are coming off Friday’s 66-to-62 loss to Connecticut in the Armed Forces Classic in Ramstein, Germany.
