MSU suffers second loss in men’s basketball

The 13-ranked Michigan State Spartans suffered a 67-59 loss at Miami on Wednesday night in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge.

Keith Appling led MSU with 15 points, while Gary Harris added 12.

Harris returned after missing two games because of a sprained left shoulder.

Travis Trice had nine points in his first action since suffering a concussion against the Huskies.

The Spartans turned the ball over 12 times.

With the loss, M-S-U drops thier record to 5-and-2.

They are back in action Saturday when they host Nicholls State.
