The 2nd-ranked Michigan Wolverines opened Big Ten play with a decisive 94-66 win over Northwestern last night in Evanston.
Trey Burke led the Wolverines with 23 points and Tim Hardaway Junior, who missed Saturday’s game against Central Michigan with an ankle injury, returned to the floor and scored 21.
Jordan Morgan had 12 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in the win.
U of M, 14-and-0 overall and 1-and-0 in the conference, hosts Iowa Sunday afternoon.
