NHL – The Detroit Red Wings Are Beaten By The Philadelphia Flyers

Posted on December 5, 2013 in Professional Sports News.

The Detroit Red Wings were doubled up by the visiting Philadelphia Flyers 6-3 last night at the Joe Louis Arena.

Tomas Tatar scored twice, and Johan Franzen also scored for Detroit, whose five game winning streak was stopped.

Jimmy Howard turned aside 28 of the 33 shots he faced before the Flyers added an empty net goal late in the third period.

The Wings head to New Jersey to take on the Devils tomorrow night.
