NHL – The Detroit Red Wings Lose Winter Classic In A Shootout

Tyler Bozak scored the winning goal in the shootout as the Maple Leafs clipped the Red Wings 3-2 in the Winter Classic at snowy Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor.

An NHL-record 105,491 were in attendance to see the contest.

Daniel Alfredsson and Justin Abdelkader both cored for the Wings, who have dropped two-of-three. Jimmy Howard had 24 saves.

The Red Wings are off until Saturday, when they begin a five game road trip in Dallas to take on the Stars.
