NHL – The Detroit Red Wings Drop One To The Anaheim Ducks

Jonas Hiller made 22 saves to lead the Anaheim Ducks in a 1-0 shutout win over the Detroit Red Wings from the Honda Center last night.

Andrew Cogliano (cog-lee-ANN-oh) scored his 15th goal of the year with just over seven minutes left in the second period as Anaheim won its seventh straight and 17th of 18 games.

Petr Mrazek turned away 22 shots for Detroit.

The Wings dropped to 20-16-and-10 with the loss.

They have alternated wins and losses over their last five games.

Detroit is at the New York Rangers on Thursday.
