The third-ranked Michigan State Spartans will tip off against Indiana University tonight at the Breslin Center.
Game time is 7:00 p.m.
They will likely be playing without senior forward Adreian Payne, who has missed the last three games with a sprained right foot.
During a press conference yesterday, MSU head coach Tom Izzo said Payne was almost considered day-to-day, but would be doubtful tonight.
The Spartans are 17-and-1 overall and 6-and-0 in the Big Ten and are meeting the Hoosiers for the second time in less than three weeks.
Arizona remains atop the latest “USA Today” top-25 college basketball poll.
The 18-and-0 Wildcats are number-one for the seventh straight week, receiving 30-of-32 first-place votes.
Syracuse is still number-two and got the other first-place tallies.
Michigan State is third, followed by Wichita State and Villanova. Florida, San Diego State, Wisconsin, Louisville and Iowa round out the top-10. Colorado and UCLA fell out of this week’s rankings.
