Gary Harris scored 20 of his game high 24 points in the second half to lead the third-ranked Michigan State Spartans past the Indiana Hoosiers, 71-66 at the Breslin Center last night.
The Spartans held Indiana to four free throws over a nearly seven minute stretch late in the game to overcome a five point deficit.
Branden Dawson contributed 13 points and nine rebounds in the win.
Yogi Ferrell led the Hoosiers with 19 points.
Michigan State improved to 18-and-1 and 7-and-0 in the Big Ten.
Indiana fell to 12-and-7 and 2-and-4 in the conference.
Number-25 Michigan tries for its sixth straight win in the Big Ten tonight against tenth-ranked Iowa.
Tip off at the Crisler Center is 7:00 p.m.
The Wolverines (13-4, 5-0) started a run against three ranked teams on Saturday with a seven point win at Wisconsin.
The Hawkeyes (15-3, 4-1) are averaging just over 90 points per game in their current three game winning streak.
Michigan owns four straight home wins in the series.
