Derrick Walton Junior and Nik Stauskas each scored 19 points to carry the Michigan Wolverines to an 80-75 win over the third-ranked Michigan State Spartans in East Lansing on Saturday.
Caris LeVert tallied 17 points and eight rebounds for Michigan, who improved to 15-and-4 and 7-and-0 in the Big Ten.
Gary Harris had 27 points to lead Michigan State, who slipped to 18-and-2 and 7-and-1 in the conference.
The Spartans are at Iowa tomorrow while the Wolverines host Purdue on Thursday.
The Wolverines are the first team since 1986-87 to win three straight games against top-10 teams.
