The Detroit Pistons began a two game road swing with a 102-78 loss to the Hornets in Charlotte last night.
Jodie Meeks led Detroit with 15 points, Andre Drummond had 13 and Anthony Tolliver contributed with 10.
Hornets Marvin Williams led all scorers with 18 points in the victory.
Charlotte put the game away outscoring the Pistons by 13 in the fourth quarter.
The loss put the Pistons playoff hopes in jeopardy, as they are 5.5 games out of the last playoff spot, with just seven games left to play.
Detroit wraps up the trip with a stop in Chicago against the Bulls tomorrow.
