MLB – The Detroit Tigers Take One From The New York Yankees

The Tigers beat the Yankees 3-2 yesterday at Joker Marchant Stadium.

Starting pitcher Angel Nesbitt gave up one hit, walked one and struck out one in two innings, while Joba Chamberlain picked up his first win in one and one third innings of scoreless work.

Nick Castellanos went one-for-three at the plate with two RBIs.

Detroit wraps up their home Grapefruit League schedule when they host the Tampa Bay Rays this afternoon in Lakeland.

Game time is 1:05 p.m.

The Tigers open the regular season at home Monday against the Minnesota Twins.
