MLB – The Detroit Tigers Shut Out The Minnesota Twins Again

The Tigers beat the Twins 11-0 yesterday at Comerica Park, the first time in team history Detroit opened a season with back-to-back shutouts.

Ian Kinsler knocked in four runs, Anthony Gose went three-for-six at the plate with three RBIs and Miguel Cabrera had two hits and two RBIs.

Anibal Sanchez earned the win, giving up three hits, walking two and striking out six in six and two third innings.

Shane Green will make his Detroit debut in this afternoon’s series finale, while Minnesota sends Kyle Gibson to the mound.
