MLB – The Detroit Tiger’s Rally Fall Short – They Lose to The New York Yankees

The Detroit Tigers loaded the bases in the ninth inning, but the rally fell short in a 5-2 loss to the New York Yankees last night at Comerica Park.

J.D. Martinez went three-for-four at the plate and scored twice, while Yoenis Cespedes and Rajai Davis each had an RBI.

Kyle Lobstein was tagged with the loss.

He gave up one run on three hits while walking four in six innings.

Tonight, David Price goes to the mound for Detroit, while New York sends out Adam Warren.

First pitch is 7:08 p.m.
