NHL – The Detroit Red Wings Lose In Overtime

Tyler Johnson scored the winning goal 2:25 into overtime lifting the Tampa Bay Lightning to a 3-2 win over the Detroit Red Wings in Game Four of their East quarterfinal series at Joe Louis Arena last night.

Johnson and Ondrej Palat scored 1:17 apart late in the third period to force OT for the Lightening, who evened up the best-of-seven series at two games each.

Gustav Nyquist and Joakim Andersson scored second period goals for the Wings.

Petr Mrazek allowed all three goals on 29 shots.

The series shifts back to Tampa for Game Five on Saturday.
