College football’s bowl season is getting bigger.
The NCAA certified three new bowl games for the upcoming season according to sources.
With the addition of the three games, there will be a record total of 42 bowls including the College Football Playoff title game.
Nearly 65-percent of the Division-One Football Bowl Subdivision will qualify to play in a game following the regular season.
The locations for the new games are Tucson, Arizona, Austin, Texas and Orlando, Florida.
The Tucson site will feature a Mountain West team against a Conference-USA opponent while Austin and Orlando will get an American and Sun Belt matchup.
