MLB – The Detroit Tigers Drop Game One To The White Sox

The Detroit Tigers dropped the first of a three-game series with the White Sox 5-2 last night in Chicago.

Starter Shane Greene was tagged with the loss.

He gave up five runs on five hits while walking four and striking out one in two and two third innings.

Ian Kinsler had an RBI hit in the first inning and Alex Avila had a solo home run in the second.

Tonight, Detroit sends Alfredo Simon to the mound and Chris Sale will get the nod for Chicago.

First pitch is 8:10 p.m.
