The NFL says some of the New England Patriots are probably guilty in the “Deflategate” scandal.
Independent investigator Ted Wells released his report yesterday, and concluded that it’s likely that locker room attendants deliberately released air from Patriots game balls in the AFC Championship Game and that quarterback Tom Brady was at least generally aware that this was going on.
The report concludes owner Robert Kraft and head coach Bill Belichick did not know what was happening.
The controversy stems from the AFC Championship Game against the Indianapolis Colts in January when some of the Colts players complained the balls were too soft.
