NHL – The Tampa Bay Lightening Take A Two Games To One Lead

The Tampa Bay Lightning are one step closer to the Stanley Cup.

Nikita Kucherov scored the winning goal 3:33 into overtime as the Lightening beat the New York Rangers 4-3 in Game Three of the Eastern Conference Final in Tampa.

Ondrej Palat contibuted two goals and an assist for the Lightning, who take a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven set.

Game Four is Friday in Tampa.

Tonight, the Chicago Blackhawks and Anaheim Ducks battle in Game Three of the Western Conference Final in Chicago.

That series is tied at one game apiece after the Blackhawks won Game Two in triple-OT on Tuesday.


Detroit Red Wings former coach Mike Babcock’s is leaving Detroit after ten seasons to take the helm of the Toronto Maple Leafs for a reported 50-million-dollars over the next eight years.
