Simon Despres’ goal with 54.2-seconds left in the second period held up as the Ducks clipped the Chicago Blackhawks 2-1 in Game Three at the United Center.
Patrick Maroon tallied in the first for Anaheim, who takes a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven.
Patrick Kane scored the lone goal late in the first period for the B;ackhawks, who were coming off a thrilling 3-2 triple-overtime win in Game Two on Tuesday.
