MLB – The Detroit Tigers Lose A Shutout To Oakland

The Detroit Tigers opened a seven-game west coast road trip with a 4-0 shutout loss to the A’s in Oakland yesterday afternoon.

Tyler Collins had two of Detroit’s four hits as batters left six men on base and hit into three double plays.

Shane Greene was charged with the loss

He gave up four runs while striking out four in five and two third innings of work, as Detroit dropped their third-straight game.

Tonight, David Price gets the start for the Tigers and the A’s will counter with Jesse Chavez.

First pitch is 10:05 pm eastern time.
