David Price earned his seventh win of the season as the Detroit Tigers beat the Cleveland Indians, 7-3, in the second of three last night at Progressive Field.
Price scattered nine hits over six innings to go along with seven strikeouts.
Andrew Romine was 2-for-4 with a home run and two runs scored and Yoenis Cespedes and Nick Castellanos each drove in two.
Jason Kipnis had four hits and an RBI in the loss.
Detroit has won three-straight and will go for the series sweep this afternoon.
In this afternoon’s series finale, Buck Farmer is scheduled to start for the Tigers and Carlos Carrasco will take the mound for the Indians.
