Soccer – The U.S. Women’s Team Plays China Tonight

Posted on June 26, 2015 in Professional Sports News.

It’s win or go home as Team USA takes on China in the quarterfinals of the Women’s World Cup tonight.

The Americans advanced in the knockout round with a 2-0 victory over Columbia on Monday.

However, the victory came at a cost, as the U.S. will be without both Megan Rapinoe and Lauren Holiday after they each earned their second yellow card of the tournament.

The sides are meeting for the first time since the U.S. beat China in the 1999 Final.

The match gets underway at 7:30 p.m. Eastern.
