Jordan Spieth (SPEETH) will continue his quest for golf’s grand slam alongside the man he beat for his second major championship.
Spieth will play alongside Dustin Johnson and Hideki Matsuyama when the 144th British Open gets underway at the Old Course at St. Andrews on Thursday.
Spieth captured the U.S. Open title when Johnson three-putted the final hole last month.
The 21-year-old Spieth is looking to become only the second player ever to win the Masters, the U.S. Open and the British Open in the same year.
Meanwhile, 14-time major champion Tiger Woods will open play with Louis Oosthuizen (OOST-hi-zen) and Jason Day.
Phil Mickelson is grouped with Matt Kuchar and Henrik Stenson.
