MLB – The American League Wins The 83 All-Star Game

Former Tiger Prince Fielder drove in a pair of runs as the American League knocked off the
National League, 6-3, in the 86th MLB All-Star Game in Cincinnati Tuesday night.

The AL will have home-field advantage in the World Series as a result of the win.

Tigers pitcher David Price got the win.

Price pitched a perfect inning to earn the victory.

The Tiger’s Jose Iglesias went 0-for-2 and J.D. Martinez was retired in his only plate appearance.

Mike Trout led off the game with a homer and Brian Dozier added a solo shot for the AL.

Trout won his second straight MVP Award, becoming the first player ever to take home the honor in back-to-back years.

Andrew McCutchen crushed a solo homerun for the National League.

Clayton Kershaw allowed two runs in the fifth inning to take the loss.

The NL has lost the last three all-star games.
