MLB – The Detroit Tigers Let A Late Lead Slip Away

The Detroit Tigers let a late lead slip away as they lost to the Seattle Mariners 11-9 Tuesday night at Comerica Park.

Starting pitcher Shane Greene was pulled after four and two third innings after giving up five runs on six hits.

Reliever Neftali Feliz was tagged with the loss after surrendering five runs, including a grand slam, in the eighth inning.

J.D. Martinez and Yoenis Cespedes each hit a two run home run and Nick Castellanos had a solo shot.

Tonight Anibal Sanchez gets the start for Detroit, while Seattle counters with Mike Montgomery.

First pitch is 7:08 p.m.
