MLB – Nick Castellanos Hits First Grand Slam Of His Career

Nick Castellanos hit the first grand slam of his career as the Detroit Tigers beat the Seattle Mariners 9-4 Wednesday night at Comerica Park.

Ian Kinsler went four-for-five at the plate and had an RBI, while Jose Iglesias and Victor Martinez each drove in a run.

Anibal Sanchez picked up the win.

He gave up four runs on nine hits while striking out six in six and two thirds innings.

Joakim Soria got his 22nd save of the year.

In this afternoon’s series finale, David Price goes to the mound for Detroit and Hisashi Iwakuma gets the start for Seattle.

First pitch is 1:08 p.m.
