Michigan officials Tuesday recently added selfie sticks to the list of items that are banned from Michigan Stadium beginning in September.
Additionally, the school has added a clause that will also prohibit drones from flying in or around the stadium.
Diane Brown, a spokeswoman for U-M’s Division of Safety and Security, said the ban follows a trend that has been implemented at other stadiums across the nation.

Michigan officials planned to use a drone as a prop to deliver the game ball into the stadium.
