The Detroit Tigers dropped their second straight game to the Royals losing 6-1 Tuesday night in Kansas City.
Anibal Sanchez was charged with the loss after giving up five runs on seven hits, including three home runs, and striking out four in five and one third innings.
Rajai Davis drove in the only run for Detroit in the seventh inning.
The Tigers try to avoid the sweep tonight as they send Daniel Norris to the mound against the Royals Edinson Volquez.
