MLB – The Detroit Tigers Shut Out The Texas Rangers

The Tigers shut out the Rangers 4-0 Thursday night at Comerica Park for their third win in a row.

Alfredo Simon earned his 11th win of the year after surrendering just one hit while striking out five and walking two in his first career complete game.

Nick Castellanos went two-for-four at the plate with two RBI and Miguel Cabrera and Victor Martinez each knocked in a run.

Roughned Odor got the only hit for Texas in the 5th inning.

Tonight, Detroit sends Justin Verlander to the mound while Colby Lewis gets the start for Texas.

First pitch is 7:08 p.m.
