Starting pitcher Buck Farmer got a no-decision.
He gave up three runs on three hits while striking out three in five and one third innings.
Reliever Al Alburquerque was tagged with the loss after giving up three runs on two hits and a walk without recording an out in the sixth.
Tonight, the Tigers will try to break their four-game losing streak as they host the Los Angeles Angels in the first of a three-game series.
