A 10-year-old Ohio State Buckeyes fan is resting easy after a heart procedure he feared would turn him into a Michigan Wolverines fan.
Ivan Applin was one of the first patients to undergo a new procedure at the University of Michigan to repair holes in his heart.
Doctors say Ivan’s biggest fear going into surgery was that they were going to make his heart love the Michigan Wolverines.
After some encouragement, Ivan got his heart fixed and is still a Buckeyes fan.
