Week One of the 2015 NFL season is in the books.
The Atlanta Falcons and San Francisco 49ers wrapped up Week One with wins as part of a “Monday Night Football” doubleheader.
In the opener, the Falcons built a 20-3 lead and held on for a 26-24 win over the Eagles in Atlanta.
Julio Jones had nine catches for 141 yards and two touchdowns in the victory.
In the nightcap, Carlos Hyde rumbled for 168 yards and two touchdowns as the 49ers ran over the Vikings, 20-3.
Adrian Peterson rushed for 31 yards on 10 carries in his return for Minnesota.
Week Two opens with the Chiefs hosting the Denver Broncos in Kansas City Thursday night.
