Ian Kinsler singled in the go-ahead run and J.D. Martinez hit his 37th home run of the season in a three-run 12th inning as the Tigers edged the Minnesota Twins, 7-4 Wednesday night.
Detroit went ahead 4-3 in the ninth on a two-run hit by Jefry Marte, but the Twins rallied against Bruce Rondon with a Trevor Plouffe RBI double.
Andrew Romine had three hits on the night .
Ian Krol pitched the final three innings to pick up the win.
Brian Duensing took the loss for Minnesota.
The Tigers, are off today as they travel home to open up a three-game series with the Royals tomorrow night at Comerica Park.
