MLB – The Detroit Tigers Fall To The Texas Rangers In Game Two Of Series

The Tigers fell to the Rangers 7-6 Tuesday night in Arlington.

Detroit scored six runs in the first three innings, but a ninth inning threat was shut down.

J.D. Martinez hit a two run homerun in the first and Bryan Holaday hit a solo shot in the second.

Rajai Davis, Jefry Marte and Dixon Machado each batted in a run.

Daniel Norris, who is on a pitch count, started the game and only lasted one and two third innings, giving up six runs, two earned, on five hits.

Buck Farmer was charged with the loss after surrendering one run on two hits in two innings of work.

Tonight, the Tigers go for the series win as they send Matt Boyd to the mound against Texas starter Yovani Gallardo.

First pitch is 8:05 p.m.
