MLB – The Detroit Tigers End The Season With A Win

Posted on October 5, 2015 in Professional Sports News.

Daniel Norris threw five innings of one-hit ball as the Tigers ended the season with a 6-0 win over the White Sox Sunday afternoon.

Four relievers combined to allow just two more hits the rest of the way as Detroit snapped a four-game losing streak.

Tyler Collins had a three-run triple to highlight the offense.

Tigers slugger Miguel Cabrera is celebrating his fourth American League batting title in five seasons. “Miggy” went 3-for-4 on Saturday to finish with a .338 average.

Boston’s Xander Bogaerts was next at .320.

Cabrera is just the seventh player in history to win four batting titles.
