NHL – The Red Wings Edge The Lightening

Dylan Larkin scored the decisive goal in the third period as the Red Wings edged the Lightning 2-1 at Joe Louis Arena Tuesday night.

Riley Sheahan opened the scoring in the second period for the Wings, who have won two in-a-row to improve to 6-5-and-1.

Jimmy Howard stopped 29 of the 30 shots he faced in the victory.

The Wings are in Toronto on Friday.
