Mason Crosby missed a 52-yard field goal on the final play after Calvin Johnson muffed an onside kick as Detroit beat Green Bay, 18-16.
Two Matt Prater missed extra points kept Green Bay in it.
Jason Perillo’s 11-yard TD catch with 32 seconds left got the Pack within two, but the two-point conversion was broken up by Crezdon Butler who just signed on Saturday.
The Lions are now 2-and-7, while the Packers fell to 6-and-3.
Detroit hosts Oakland this Sunday.
