A.J. Green’s lost fumble clinched the Bengals’ first loss of the season as they fell to the Texans, 10-6, at Paul Brown Stadium on “Monday Night Football.”
T.J. Yates found DeAndre Hopkins from 22 yards out to give Houston the lead early in the fourth quarter.
Yates replaced Brian Hoyer, who left the game with a concussion.
The Texans are tied with the Colts for first place in the AFC South at 4-and-5.
Cincinnati dropped to 8-and-1, leaving the Patriots and Panthers as the only two unbeaten teams left.
Andy Dalton struggled, throwing for 197 yards and an interception in the loss.
