NHL – The Red Wings Host The L.A. Kings

The Red Wings host the Los Angeles Kings tonight at Joe Louis Arena.

The puck drops at 7:30 p.m.The Wings head into tonight’s game following a 2-1 overtime loss to the Washington Capitals Wednesday.

Two players may return to the lineup for Detroit tonight.

Center Brad Richards, who missed 13 games with a back issue and Brendan Smith, who has been sidelined for five games due to an illness, both practiced yesterday and could take the ice against the Kings.

Head coach Jeff Blashill said that Petr Mrazek will get the start in goal tonight and Jimmy Howard will be in net against the Blues in St. Louis tomorrow.
