NHL – The Detroit Red Wings Take On The Buffalo Sabres Tonight

Posted on December 1, 2015 in Professional Sports News.

The Red Wings continue their six-game homestand as they host the Buffalo Sabres tonight at Joe Louis Arena.

The puck drops at 7:30 p.m.

The Wings have gone to overtime in their last four games, including a 2-1 loss to the Florida Panthers Sunday.

Head coach Jeff Blashill said Petr Mrazek will get the start in goal tonight and defenseman Brendan Smith, who was a healthy scratch Sunday, will return to the lineup.

Blashill also said he hopes to put forward Teemu Pulkkinen back on the ice tonight in an attempt to bolster Detroit’s power-play.

Last month, the Red Wings were 4-for-37 with the man advantage in 13 games.
