NFL – The Detroit Lions Give One Away To The Green Bay Packers

The Lions let a 20 point lead slip away as they lost to the Green Bay Packers 27-23 on a Hail Mary pass Thursday night at Ford Field.

Detroit was flagged for a face mask as time ran out, giving Green Bay one untimed play.

Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers then connected with tight end Richard Rodgers on a 61-yard pass for the winning score.

Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford completed 23-of-35 passes for 220 yards and two touchdowns, running back Ameer Abdullah had 67-yards on 13 carries and wide receiver Calvin Johnson had three catches for 44 yards and one touchdown.

Aaron Rodgers was 24 of 36 for 289 yards and two touchdowns.

Richard Rodgers caught 8 passes for 146 yards and 1 touchdowns.
