NHL – The Detroit Red Wings Lose In A Shoot-out To The Capitals

The Red Wings lost in a shootout to the Capitals, 3-2, in Washington Tuesday night, snapping their three-game winning streak.

Henrik Zetterberg and Tomas Jurco both had goals for Detroit, who failed to score in overtime on a power play and during the shootout.

Jimmy Howard stopped 38 shots.

Despite the loss, the Wings picked up a point in their 11th consecutive game.

The Red Wings return to Joe Louis Arena to host the Montreal Canadiens tomorrow night.
