Number-four Michigan State was dominated by 16th-ranked Iowa in a 76-59 loss Thursday night at the Breslin Center.
Matt Costello led the Spartans with 15 points and Denzel Valentine had 14 points in his first start since minor knee surgery.
The loss dropped the Spartans to 15-and-2, 3-and-2 in the Big Ten.
Both of their losses have came to the Hawkeyes, as they manhandled MSU for the season-sweep.
Michigan State is the fifth top-10 team to be beaten this week.
Top-ranked Kansas, number-three Maryland, sixth-ranked Duke and ninth-ranked Miami all lost earlier in the week.
MSU will look to regroup as they head to take on Wisconsin on Sunday.
